Meet Angelique Owen
Angelique was raised in Cumming, Georgia, and lived the first 15 years of her life in Forsyth County. In 2015, she got sober and moved to Cobb County, finally settling in Kennesaw.
She has worked in the healthcare industry for many years, starting as a medical assistant at North Atlanta Primary Care in Marietta. She began delving into the addiction recovery field as her primary focus in 2018. She began working at Imagine Women’s Sober Living in Marietta.
She regularly does volunteer work both in recovery and for her community at large. She has done volunteer work for the Forsyth County-based nonprofit organization Save The Horses. She currently does Crossfit in Kennesaw every week and is working to become a Nationally Certified Recovery Coach.
She and her husband, Sean Owen, have two dogs, Apollo and Iris, and they live in Kennesaw, Georgia where they can stay connected to their local recovery community.
